Hi Go-Getters
We had our annual Go Getters Luncheon on Saturday October 11th at The Creekside Grill in Rossmore. The luncheon was hosted by Morie Kahane and we had a total of seven members attend. I have attached a picture. John Michaels also attended and he was the one who took the picture. It was fun seeing the folks who attended.
Unfortunately the number of attendees continues to decrease but it’s not from lack of interest. I received quite a few e-mails from members telling me they would have loved to attend but they had other plans or were physically not up to come. Many more have moved out of the area and sadly many of our friends have passed on.
Morie and I plan to continue to schedule a luncheon each year as long as there are folks interested in coming. Dan Sidbury |
Use this list to set up you Obituary. These are the basics needed for a good Obit. Remember the obit will be there forever and it will be and accurate account of your cherished family member and will be viewed for generations in the future.
1. Legal Name of deceased.
2. Date of death
3. Date of Birth date and place of birth.
4. You include mother and father names to #3 if you want
5. Survived by;
A. Wife name. If deceased we will list as preceded in death. Date if possible.
B. Children of deceased .To be inclusive add spouse name if they are married.
C. Grand Children names
D. Great Grand Children names
6. Married to.
7. History of deceased; Where deceased was raised, High School, where he worked Oakland Tribune - department
8. Military ?? Branch?
9. College??
Testimonial; Any words from relatives (keep it brief) that they would like to have in the Obit.
10 Pictures you would like to have added.
