2017 Go-Getters Reunion Luncheon
This years affair was held at Pier 29 in Alameda. It was a perfect day and all went well with the exception of a few folks getting caught in the traffic jam in the Alameda Tube from an accident. In the end all arrive in good order. I mentioned on our front website page I think needs repeating. This a was great event and very successful. Everyone thought that the venue was perfect, food was great and the service and hospitality from all the staff at Pier 29 could not have been better. Having said that all this would have meant nothing without your support. Our success and existence as a club is only as good as your participation. So Thank you from all the Go-Getters Board.
In Honor of our Super Senior Members in attendance. I apologize for not taking our usual pictures for you to be recognized. Below are our Super Seniors that made the trip.
A few words about this years luncheon. This is our first year without our leader Ted Sizelove. He will be missed by us all. I want to commend the job Harvey Kooy did filling in as our new President. He had some large shoes to fill, and fill them he did! His wife Pat Kooy also took on extra duties and did an outstanding job. The new name tags were her Idea and I can say we only had one person that did not return the name tag. I want to extend kudos to Henry and Carmen Ohlmeyer for their constant efforts and support to this club. To Dave Chapman who recommended this restaurant and helped with arranging the date and menu that we all enjoyed. Other than Dave being a pain in the neck he did a Great Job! OK, I'll shut up now....😀
