Bob Stojanovich was born on January 8, 1942, in Grass Valley, California, to Petro and Natalia Stojanovich.

He was raised in Oakland alongside his siblings Vera, Stan, and Val. His early years shaped the strong values and character that guided him throughout his life. He carried a deep faith and strong connection to God from an early age, shaping the way he lived, loved, and cared for others.

In 1969 Bob married Darlene, and together they built a life grounded in love, loyalty, and family. He was a proud and devoted father to Nick and Senya, and a beloved grandfather to six grandchildren who brought him endless joy.

Bob dedicated his career to serving others as a chiropractor. Known for his strong work ethic, sharp mind, and deep compassion, he built a reputation for excellence in his profession and became a trusted figure in his community. Throughout his career, his dedication was recognized with numerous honors, including Chiropractor of the Year from the California Chiropractic Association, Alumnus of the Year from Life Chiropractic College West, and the Impact Award for his positive influence on the health and well-being of his community. His leadership also contributed to the Contra Costa Chiropractic Society being recognized as Society of the Year. These accomplishments reflected not only his professional excellence, but also his lifelong commitment to helping others live healthier lives.

Bob was an honest, loyal, kind, and loving man. As a pillar of the family he was positive in spirit, strong in character, yet soft and gentle in nature. His wisdom and intelligence guided those around him, and his warmth left a lasting impression.

Bob had a passion for learning, especially about the body, wellness, and mental and physical health and he not only applied this knowledge in his own life but eagerly shared it with others, making learning and teaching his favorite pastime.

Bob proudly served in the United States Air Force, demonstrating the same loyalty and dedication that defined his life.

Those who knew Bob will remember his unwavering honor, his strength, and his gentleness. He leaves behind a legacy of love, integrity, and resilience that will continue through his family and all who were blessed to know him.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd at 11:30am at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery at 1965 Reliez Valley Road, Lafayette Ca 94549

A Celebration of Life will also be on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2-5pm at the Stojanovich home.
