John Morris Bellison was born on August 21, 1937 in Oakland, California to John Henry and Ann Bellison. John passed away on June 28, 2026 he was 88 yrs old.
John is survived by his wife: Patricia Ann Bellison, son John Willard Bellison, sister Joyce Altunas, Monty and Dora Dumas.
Grandchildren: Braden, Brandon, Emma, Mason, Nora, Jack, Jim and Josey.
John was preceded in death by his brother: Russell Joseph Bellison.
John served in the United State Marine Corps reserve 1956-1964.
John started his employment at the Oakland Tribune on January 15, 1959 up to the time the Tribune closed in 1992. We worked in Circulation Dept - Home delivery

Thank you John for letting me be with you almost every week on the phone the past two years during your ordeal. We laughed, we cried and we learned so much from each other. Rest in peace my friend.
He was one of my favorites, great sense of humor,
flirtatious, but nice. He will be missed, by family and friends.
