Bob died peacefully at the age of 77. Bob was born in Saginaw Michigan, the seventh of eight children to Harold and Alma Laundra, on September 16, 1941. He attended St. Andrews High School and the University of Detroit. Two years after college bob came west and landed a job at Standard Oil Company working in the IBM tab section. His soon to be wife Jeri worked in the IBM key punch section they were married a year later that union lasted 56 years. Bob was active as a basketball, baseball and soccer coach. Bob was also the past President of the Buon Tempo Club and Administrator of the Moose Lodge in Castro Valley. He also worked at the Oakland Tribune for many years in Circulation Dept and later at UPS were he retired. Bob enjoyed working at the Tribune and the many friends he made working at the Tribune . He always looked forward to attending the Go-Getters annual luncheons.
Bob is survived by his wife Jeri of 56 years, son Rob 52, and his wife Maria has two sons Devin a senior in High School and Nico a freshman, and daughter Erin 48, and her husband Brian, together Bob and Jeri had 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, his brother Jack (Karen), his brother in-law Chris Nuccio and wife Carol, Sister Margaret (Bob Biesczka) Bob will be missed for his kind heart, and loved by all who knew him He will never be forgotten.
