Josephine Johanna Ward

March 19,1926 - October 31, 2019

Josephine “Jo” worked at the Oakland Tribune on the 5^th floor at various positions and is where she met he husband Lavern “Vern” Ward, who also worked at the Tribune in Home Delivery and Street Sales. They were married on May 4^th 1947. They were married for 68 years. Vern proceeded Jo in death on December 15, 2015  Jo is survived by her daughter Vicky Botsford of Martinez Ca, her son Pat of Concord Ca, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. 

Jo was a solid lady who treated everyone with kindness.  

Jo was laid to rest next to her husband Vern at, Oakmont Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lafayette California
