Joe was born Jan 29, 1914 in Denver Colorado, to the
parents of Leo and Lena Blum. He died April 13, 1980 Oakland Ca. Joe was laid
to rest at Home of Eternity Cemetery in Oakland. He was 66 years old. He married his lovely
wife Helen Ester on January 16, 1940 in Yuma Arizona (eloped) Joe worked for the
circulation Department of the Oakland Tribune until he retired, having worked
his way up from news carrier to promotions director. Joe is survived by wife Helen, daughters
Dorothy Davis, Barbara Denver and (tom), nephew Benjamin Davis and his wife
Catherine, and great grandson James Michael Davis.
