Resident of Rio Vista, the youngest
of 8 siblings, grew up in Oakland and graduated from Oakland High in
1955. Dave worked at the Oakland Tribune for 40 years in sales and
delivery departments. Married to Ermon for 38 years until her
passing. He is survived by his beloved wife Sally and loving children
and their spouses, David (Beth), Debbie (Bob) and Kim (Frank). He
also leaves his devoted grandchildren, Eric, Kevin, Danny, Dylan,
Seth, Theresa, Carrie, Julia, Clara and Ellis, as well as 3
great-grandchildren. David loved singing jazz and was an avid
baseball and World War II history buff. His kindness, humor, and
generosity was a blessing to all who knew him. A memorial service
will be held at a later date.
