Vernon Lloyd Trost, a mailer for 33 years with the Oakland Tribune, died Thursday in a Concord hospital. He was 64. The
Missouri native lived in Concord for 29 years and previously lived in
Richmond. He was a member of the Northern California Mailers Union Local
15 and was an Army veteran.
He
is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jessie Carol Trost of Concord;
daughter, Denise Lynn Jensen of Ft. Polk, La.; sons, David Allen Trost
of Concord and Michael James Trost of Suisun City; brother, Hal Trost of
Martinez; sister, Gayla O'Shea of Lafayette; and three grandchildren.
Services:
2 p.m. Monday at Quimet Brothers in Concord. Burial at memorial Gardens
in Concord. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
